Scarborough shooting leaves young man dead

A young man is dead after a shooting in Scarborough on Friday night.
Police were called to an apartment building located at 70 Stevendale Drive just before 8 p.m. on Friday. The building is in the Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue area.
A man in his early 20s was found at the scene with gunshot wounds to his head and neck. He was taken away by ambulance but died on the way to hospital, police said.
Police have not yet released the man's name and there is no word yet on suspects. |
